無論身處何方，香港人就係香港人，一定都係忙於喺度建立屬於自己、家庭嘅生活，追求我哋嘅夢想，面對挑戰 (Jumanji: face it like a man) 為未可知嘅某日子過好眼前每一天。散居世界各地嘅香港人，已經形成咗一個有相當規模 (critical mass) 嘅海外族群。喺海外，生活上有更多新鮮事物，海濶天空，既國際化又在地化，好多嘢學。我哋落地生根之餘仲可以安居樂業，為自己同屋企人做長遠打算。
Regardless of where we are, the identity of being a Hongkongers will never change. As Hongkongers, we strive for our own lives and families, pursuing our dreams and making the most of each day. Today, Hongkongers scattered around the world have reached a critical mass. A significant overseas community is emerging. Life beyond Hong Kong offers a wealth of new experiences, a broader horizon, a new sense of internationalism, and ample opportunities to learn.
尚生活喺香港人忙碌於工作家庭之餘，為大家提供一個呼吸新鮮空氣、吸收新養份嘅空間。喺每日下午茶或者傍晚放工返到屋企，慢落嚟，飲杯嘢，睇番啲你喜歡嘅人同事，閱讀番你追求嘅嗜好仲有你響往嘅生活方式(lifestyle)。文化、音樂、藝術、飲食、旅遊、娛樂、潮流、親子、intellectual、公民、通識、香港歷史⋯⋯，都可以喺我哋日常生活中嘅balanced diet 中不可或缺。其實嚟啲生活閑情品味喜好，同我哋時刻關心嘅新聞時事社會事務，可以講得係魚與熊掌。
LivesUp aims to provide Hongkongers a space to pause and absorb fresh ideas. Whether you are returning home after a long day of work, having a drink, watching your favourite shows, or envisioning your desired lifestyle, we have something for you: culture, music, food, travel, entertainment, citizenship, Hong Kong history, and more are all essential addition to our daily lives. We believe that leisurely lifestyle stories go hand in hand with our care for current affairs. Both are important to our balanced diet.

最後要強調一句，尚生活係一個鼓勵言論自由嘅平台，比各位專欄作者，可以𣈱所欲言，無拘無束自由發揮。我哋仲有兩個欄目係歡迎讀者投稿，其一就係分享打工生活嘅「打工天地」，另外仲有講吓做生意創業嘅「創企業」。
LivesUp is a platform that encourages freedom of speech. Our columnists are free to express themselves without constraints. We also have two columns that welcome reader submissions – one for sharing work life experiences, 'the Working World,' and another for business and entrepreneurship, 'Start-up.'

LivesUp serves as a new edition to HKerConnect, an information platform run by Victoria Harbor Group (VHG). LivesUp aspires to be a free supplementary platform for Hongkongers worldwide, adding colour to the lives of Hongkongers and our friends around the globe. We welcome readers from all over to contact us and take part in this interactive community.
